About Me

About Me

My name is Lloyd I am 17 years old I was born on June 16th 1999. I live in West Croydon with my mum, dad and two brothers.

My hobbies I like to play football and go on my phone to look at sports news and social media, the position I play in is defence I like to tackle and put my opponents under real pressure! I like to go on social media to check Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Instagram. Because it keeps me entertained, gives me the chance to chat to my friends and it keeps me up to date what's going on that's why I like as one of my hobbies.
The football team I support is Arsenal. I watch their matches live on TV and I follow them.

I also like to play table tennis during my spare time as well I am very good at the sport and I am that type of person that is patient whilst playing and my concentration levels are very high so that's how I win a lot of matches.

I was born here to Ghanaian parents, so the culture and background is different in terms of language, food and lifestyle but I enjoy it, the food is very nice and I am definitely use to it and most importantly I know my roots.

The secondary school I attended was Bensham Manor School the five years I spent there was ok but could have been better but on a whole it was fine. I went to all my lesssons maybe there were times I did not put all my effort into all my lessons, but that did not stop me from learning. But speaking about myself I am a cool person and in terms of learning wise I am determined, positive and most importantly I try my hardest.

I am in college studying BTEC Level 3 Media and Sports

The reason I have chosen to do sports. Because I enjoy taking part in different sports games and I would like to learn further about the fitness components, bones in the body, coaching if given the chance although it is not top of my agenda and other stuffs that involves sports in detail. Taking part in practical lessons helps me socially, academically and with big confidence so that's why I chose to do sports.

The reason I chose to do media is because I am really interested in the subject. Journalism really interests me and also publishing newspapers and magazines sounds a fun activity to do.
I never got the chance to do media at my secondary school, as I was thinking about the subject during year 10 and 11, it made me say to myself "let me try and do this particular subject when I go to college it sounds very interesting." So that is why I chose to do this subject.

My aim is to do well in college. Complete all coursework that is given to me and try my hardest in every lessons I go to. By the end of year I would like to achieve Distinction * in both of my subjects.
